New Student: We welcome a new boy to our class as of Feb. 1. Welcome to Alexander also known as “Zander.”

 

Vacation Day: Feb. 20 is President’s Day -- no school on Monday.

 

Special Activities: Feb. 13 will be our classroom Valentine exchange. We ask that each child bring a Valentine for each child in the class. Classroom Moms Stacy and Shelly will distribute cards into individual bags early in the day, and also organize a special snack for the day. Please VOLUNTEER to contribute snacks, napkins, etc. for the day. Parents are asked to come at 11:00 to help your child open and read their Valentines.You may use the following list to address your child's Valentines:  Aiden, Alexander, Gavin, Grayson, Isabella, Jacob, Joseph, Kate, Ketan, Quinn, Sean, Trevor.

                 Feb. 24 is Teddy Bear Day. Have your child bring a favorite Teddy Bear to school in backpacks for a special day of holding and loving. We will even have a bear hunt!

                 Feb. 27 is PICTURE DAY. Each student may sit for a portrait and also be part of our class picture. More information will be sent home soon. We have a great portrait photographer lined up.

 

Snack Schedule: We have no birthdays in February.

Now we have 12 students and 2 teachers.

 

 

Looking Ahead: Feb. 29 and into early March we will study wind and kites.

March 5 – The SPCA will visit us with animalls.

7 – Mrs. Murray and Mrs. Henry will show their pets.

16 – Parent and Teacher Conferences (Sign-up at Valentine gathering.)
